CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RAILWAY STATIONS

Project Description

The project involves construction of new stations at Nairobi, Makadara and Imara Daima.

The new stations will be intermodal providing facility parking for cars and Matatu/bus terminal to provide fast, reliable, safe and affordable commuter rail services and decongest Jogoo Road and Mombasa Road.

Contractor identification and procurement in progress.

Estimate Cost  = KES 360 Million

Expected Completion = February 2012
